Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine New York (TouroCOM NY) is an urban osteopathic medical school affiliated with Touro University, a Jewish-sponsored institution with a mission of serving underserved communities. TouroCOM NY operates two New York campuses: the primary Harlem campus in upper Manhattan and a second campus in Middletown in the Hudson Valley. Founded in 2007, TouroCOM has built a strong identity around urban community health, diversity, and training physicians for New York's most underserved neighborhoods.

Course & teaching
Integrated curriculum. 4-year DO curriculum with OMM throughout. Harlem campus offers immersive urban community health clinical training; Middletown campus offers a more suburban and rural Hudson Valley experience. Years 1–2 at the respective home campus; Years 3–4 rotations at TouroCOM-affiliated hospitals, community health centers, and clinical sites across New York City, the Hudson Valley, and beyond.

Interview
TouroCOM New York (DO) interviews via Traditional faculty and student interview. TouroCOM NY conducts traditional interviews at its Harlem campus (and at the Middletown campus for applicants assigned there), typically consisting of two sessions — a faculty/clinician interview and a student interaction — each approximately 30 minutes. The interview day includes a campus orientation, financial aid presentation, and program information. Questions focus on osteopathic philosophy, DO shadowing, community health commitment in the Harlem/New York City context, and the applicant's understanding of urban health disparities. Touro's Jewish heritage and emphasis on community service and tikkun olam (repairing the world) are cultural themes that may arise in discussion.
