- Contextual ATAR
- No adjustment factors apply — JCU states the Educational Access Scheme, Regional Preference Scheme and Subject Adjustment Scheme are NOT available to Dentistry applicants, which is why QTAC's offer profile is identical with and without adjustments. Rural applicants are supported through reserved Rural Access Scheme places instead.

- GPA
- Non-school-leaver applicants (schooling finished more than two years ago and/or 1 FTE or more of bachelor-level study in the last 10 years) MUST have tertiary study to be considered, and JCU states "consideration is given for studies in health". The minimum unweighted GPA for tertiary results to be assessed is 5.75 on a 7-point scale — JCU stresses this is an assessment floor, "not a threshold or benchmark", and meeting it guarantees nothing. The most recent GPA is weighted most heavily, but the whole academic profile supplied by QTAC is considered.
