About MUSC College of Medicine (MD)

The Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine was established in Charleston in 1824. It is one of the oldest medical schools in the United States, and the main training ground for South Carolina's physician workforce. It sits within the MUSC academic health system, the state's only health sciences university.
