Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine, established in 1824 in Charleston, is one of the oldest medical schools in the United States and the primary training ground for South Carolina's physician workforce. Course & teaching

Integrated curriculum. 4-year MD. Years 1–2: integrated basic science and early clinical curriculum in Charleston. Year 2: transition to clerkships. Students can pursue Area of Concentration tracks in research, global health, or rural/underserved medicine.
