Course & teaching

Integrated curriculum. 4-year MD. Years 1–2: organ-system integrated curriculum with early clinical skills; clinical exposure begins in first semester via longitudinal patient panels. Years 3–4: required clerkships at affiliated Texas Medical Center hospitals including Ben Taub (public/safety-net), Texas Children's, and the Houston VA. Dual-degree pathways: MSTP (MD–PhD), MD–MPH, MD–MBA available.
