Brown Alpert holds all interviews virtually for the 2026 cycle. Each applicant has two half-hour individual interviews with students, faculty or administrative staff who are voting members of the MD Admissions Committee. Interviewers read the full application in advance.
They probe your motivation for medicine, your understanding of the Alpert curriculum and its Doctoring philosophy, and your personal values around equity and service. The day also includes a session with current students. The PLME combined 8-year track attracts a distinctly motivated applicant.
