Announced in November 2022, the project broke ground in March 2025 and is scheduled to enrol its inaugural Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine class in fall 2026 — the first medical school in the city of Jacksonville. The campus is not yet operational; planned figures below are projections, as no class has matriculated. Once open it will leverage LECOM's established curriculum and Jacksonville's extensive hospital and community health system.
