UC Irvine runs an 8-station MMI at the Irvine health sciences campus, with each station lasting approximately 8 minutes. Stations cover ethical dilemmas, communication role-play, teamwork scenarios, and health-systems questions, with a recurring emphasis on population health and the diverse demographics of Orange County. Applicants receive a brief written prompt outside each station door before entering. The interview day includes an informational session, school tour, and lunch with current students.
