Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) Virginia, founded in 2003 as VCOM's original campus, is located in Blacksburg, Virginia, adjacent to Virginia Tech. It is the founding VCOM campus and benefits from a unique partnership with Virginia Tech that brings biomedical engineering, data science, and life sciences collaboration to DO training. The school emphasizes primary care for rural Appalachian Virginia, Southwest Virginia's coal-mining communities, and the broader Mountain South.

Applications via AACOMAS. VCOM Virginia's Virginia Tech partnership is the most research-intensive environment in the VCOM system. Course & teaching

Integrated curriculum. 4-year DO curriculum with OMM integrated throughout. Years 1–2 at the Blacksburg campus with access to Virginia Tech research facilities; Years 3–4 clinical rotations at affiliated community hospitals and rural practices across Southwest Virginia and the Appalachian corridor.

VCOM Virginia (DO) interviews via Traditional one-on-one interview with faculty. VCOM Virginia conducts interview day at its Blacksburg campus, co-located with Virginia Tech's Corporate Research Center. Two one-on-one sessions (faculty/clinician and student) run alongside campus tours and VCOM mission sessions.
