Albany Med is both a medical school and the academic center of the Albany Med Health System. That system includes Albany Medical Center, the only Level I trauma center in a seven-county region. The four-year MD curriculum is rigorous, and it emphasizes early and continuous patient care, clinical skills, and service to the underserved communities of Upstate New York.
