UCAT-ANZ Score Converter

Enter your raw marks to estimate your scaled score in each subtest and your total out of 2,700, then see where that total sits in the official 2026 deciles. The UCAT ANZ Consortium publishes no conversion table, so the conversion is our estimate.

Convert raw marks into an estimated UCAT-ANZ score

Enter your raw mark for each cognitive subtest below. The converter estimates a score from 300 to 900 for each one, adds them into a total out of 2,700 and shows which decile that total falls in. It all updates as you type.

How the converter works

Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making and Quantitative Reasoning are each scaled from 300 to 900. Those three scores add up to your total, from 900 to 2,700.

The UCAT ANZ Consortium publishes no conversion table. So the scaled scores here are our estimates, not official figures. We read each raw mark against our own anchor points, with a straight line between them. Expected accuracy is ±50 to 80 per section.

The anchors are shared with our UK converter. UCAT UK has the same cognitive subtests and the same 900 to 2,700 total, but the anchors have not been fitted to UCAT-ANZ results.

A note on accuracy. Treat every estimate here as a planning figure, not a result. The decile table is official, but the total you read against it is ours.

Count your raw marks

The official practice tests give no score, but the review screen shows which answers were right. Count your marks in each subtest.

2

We estimate the scaled score

We read each raw mark against our own anchor points, with a straight line between them. Expected accuracy is ±50 to 80 per section.

3

Read it against the deciles

Your estimated total is placed in the official UCAT-ANZ deciles. That shows where it sits among all candidates, not how a school will treat it.

UCAT-ANZ 2026 deciles

This is the official table for UCAT-ANZ 2026, from 17,341 candidates. The 1st decile is the 10th percentile, the 2nd is the 20th, and so on, so the 5th decile is the median. The mean total was 1,964. The table stops at the 9th decile, and no higher figure is published.

Old /3600 scores cannot be converted. UCAT-ANZ 2026 was out of 2,700. UCAT-ANZ 2024 and earlier were out of 3,600, with Abstract Reasoning as a fourth cognitive subtest. Abstract Reasoning was removed, not rescaled, so no formula links the two. Never multiply a /3600 figure by 0.75.

Each subtest against the 2026 deciles

The subtests are not equal, so read each one against its own column. A 700 in Verbal Reasoning sat between the 8th and 9th deciles in 2026. The same 700 in Quantitative Reasoning sat between the 5th and 6th.

Frequently asked questions

Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making and Quantitative Reasoning are each scaled from 300 to 900, and those three scores add up to your total, from 900 to 2,700. The UCAT ANZ Consortium publishes no conversion table. So this tool uses our own estimates: anchor points for each subtest, with a straight line between them.
