UKWPMed scheme reduces both the academic prediction (ABB instead of AAB) and the effective UCAT bar, and the contextual route tolerates a weaker GCSE profile. Leicester does not publish split contextual/non-contextual UCAT cut-offs on the current /2700 scale, so none is quoted here - an earlier version of this entry showed an identical figure for both tiers, which drew a distinction it could not support.
Everyone else is scored on academic ability and UCAT together, then ranked within one of five groups - predicted A-level, achieved A-level, resitting A-level, graduate and access - with the highest scorers in each invited. Leicester states that because the UCAT total changed, its 2026-entry scoring is substantially different from previous years, so older point tables no longer apply.
