GCSE used as minimum eligibility only (≥7 grade 7s, including English/Maths/2 sciences). When highly scoring candidates exceed slots, ranked by total UCAT + SJT band.

Contextual / WP eligibility
WP+ scheme: six GCSEs at grade 7+ accepted (against seven standard), offer reduced from AAA to AAB, and a lower UCAT threshold - 1,960 against 2,060 for 2026 entry. An ABB offer goes to applicants who are care-experienced or have refugee status (including the Ukrainian schemes), and to those who complete a Manchester widening-participation programme. Eligibility is set by the University's Contextual Data tool.
