FIU Wertheim uses a traditional one-on-one interview format: each applicant has two separate one-on-one interviews of about 30 minutes each, in a virtual interview session on Zoom. Interviews are non-blind and probe motivation for medicine, commitment to primary care and underserved communities in the Miami metropolitan area, and understanding of the StepUp Curriculum.
