Virginia Tech Carilion SOM uses an MMI with multiple timed stations assessing communication, ethical reasoning, and team-based problem-solving. The school has a small class size (~54 students per year) and the interview day reflects its intimate, team-science culture. Each station runs approximately eight minutes with prep time; independent assessors score each station.
