Strong holistic-care and soft-skills emphasis. SJT used post-interview in offer making (B1 = 15 pts, B2 = 10, B3 = 5, B4 = nothing). St George's is also generous with deferred-entry offers, often made to borderline applicants in lieu of rejection.
Format: Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI)
A six-station MMI, each station around five minutes with a 60-second break between, delivered through SAMMI (Scalable Automated Multiple Mini Interviews) software. Each station is assessed separately by a different interviewer and may ask a question, set a practical task, or run a role play.

What is TrueScore?
A data-driven estimate of the UCAT score you'll likely need to be invited to interview at St George's for 2027 entry entry — based on its published cut-offs and recent admissions data. Treat it as a target to aim past, not a guarantee.
St George's's TrueScore is 1950. Build a week-by-week UCAT plan that works back from your test date — free for the first two weeks.
Wholly UCAT-based shortlisting once the entry criteria are met: applicants are ranked by total UCAT and interview places go to the highest scorers until filled. A minimum of 500/900 in each cognitive subsection applies. The cut-off is set each year against that cohort and City St George's says it cannot be predicted from previous years. SJT contributes post-interview to offer making (B1=15, B2=10, B3=5, B4=0).
SJT used post-interview in offer making. Combined with MMI score → B1=15 pts, B2=10, B3=5, B4=none.
St George's is generous with deferred-entry offers - borderline applicants often receive deferred offers in place of rejection. WP routes available with reduced thresholds.
Once the entry criteria are met, applicants are ranked by UCAT score and interview places are allocated from the top down until they run out. A minimum of 500/900 is required in each individual cognitive subsection. UCAT may also be used to rank the post-interview waiting list, and the SJT band is considered in decision-making for 2026 entry.
Plan a tight answer structure - a one-line general response, two or three specific examples, then a summary - because 4-minute stations punish anyone who waffles. Speak at a steady pace; rushing to fill time hurts more than ending a few seconds early.
Two questions our tutors flagged as a strong fit for St George's’s interview style. Try answering them out loud, then open Prometheus for the model answers and follow-up tips.
