How to read this table
- Basis. Where we publish an interview guide for the school, the window comes from that guide, which records the dates of the most recent round and when the guide was last reviewed. Otherwise it comes from the school’s record, which usually gives months only.
- Cycle. A window with a year in it (for example “December 2025 – February 2026”) is the most recent round the school published. Schools usually keep a similar pattern, but confirm 2027-entry dates with the school.
- Counts in the answer above use the first month named in each window; rows whose record says dates are not yet published are not counted.
- Not published means the school’s record in our catalogue holds no figure or statement for that cell. We leave the gap visible rather than estimate it; check the school’s own admissions page.
- Last checked reports what our verification ledger records for that school: the date its record was checked against the school’s own page, a partial check, or that no check has been completed. Policies change between cycles, so the school’s own page is always the final word.
Frequently asked questions
- When are medical school interviews for 2027 entry?
- Mostly December to March. 28 of the 43 UK medical schools with a recorded window open interviews in December, 9 in January and 5 in November. 4 schools' windows run into April or later: Hertfordshire, Keele, King's College London (KCL) and St Mary's Twickenham.
- When do UK medical schools send offers?
- Usually after all interviews have finished: 23 of 51 schools' decision windows mention March, and several send decisions on a rolling basis or into April and May. The decision column in the table gives each school's recorded window.
- Which medical schools have not published interview dates?
- Our records hold no confirmed window for Buckingham, Cardiff, Edge Hill, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Peninsula (Plymouth), University of Greater Manchester and Worcester Medical School. Some are new schools whose 2027-entry dates were not yet published when their records were last checked.
- Are these the exact dates for my interview?
- No. They are each school's interview window. Your own date comes in your invitation, and schools can move windows between cycles, so check the school's admissions page and your UCAS Hub.
