Medical school interview formats, measured

We maintain a structured record for each of the 408 medical and dental schools we cover, curated from the school’s official admissions pages and applicant reports collected by our tutors, and re-verified each admissions cycle. This page is generated directly from those records, so the numbers always match the per-school profiles they link to.

A school is counted under every format it currently uses (hybrid processes exist, so format counts can sum to more than the school count). Two non-live categories are classified explicitly: “no interview” (selection ranked purely on grades and admissions tests — several Australian and NZ programmes) and “asynchronous video assessment” (a recorded assessment replaces any live interview). Percentages use schools with a classified selection process as the denominator; the 6 schools whose current process we cannot yet verify are excluded and disclosed per market above.
